We are making our inchie art project. We did six pictures and we had to choose four of them.
Mme Page came and she taught us ways to do subtraction. We used different strategies. We can use a number line, trading blocks or breaking the number into ones, tens and hundreds.
We were decorating gingerbread men with our reading buddies and Mme Melo in our pyjamas. We brought our stuffies to school and wrote about them in French. It was fun. We also wrote paragraphs about our friends in French. In English, we wrote a letter and application to Santa to be an elf in the North Pole.
In Social Studies we practiced our map of the world. We needed to know the the 7 continents, the 4 oceans, the equator, the north and south pole, Canada, the directions and the title.
We also learned about our heritage and culture.
We are playing the Ho Ho Ho! game. We roll a die and if it's a six we put on mittens and try to open the present. Inside there were Lifesavers for everyone! We had to rip all the layers off of the present while everyone was still trying to roll a six!
