November

Here is our spooky Halloween party. We ate yummy snacks and they were awesome!

Here we are working with a partner making sure we have capitals and periods in our work. We also made sure that our writing made sense so we could put it in our good copy of Marvellous Me!

Here are our peace doves and poppies for Remembrance Day. We wrote about stuff that means peace to us. We learned about our rights and responsibilities. We remembered the book Nelly McClung and how she fought for women to have the right to vote. We watched some videos about people having equal rights. For example, in one video a child went to school with no lunch. It was very sad.

This when we were making our Makerspaces structures. These two talented teachers read us a story first. We thought about it and then we made our creation. Some of us worked in partners and some of us worked alone.

This is when we were swimming at swimming lessons at the Civic Centre. We learned dolphin swim and how to help people when they fall out of a boat or into the water. We learned about how to get warmer if you're cold in a lake. We had so much fun and we got lots of exercise!

Here we are learning about some music. The instruments make different sounds. We are learning about the symphony.

Here is when we were reading with our reading buddies. We read using the iPads and we were using RAZ-Kids. Some of us were reading in Mme Pelletier's class and some of us stayed in our class.

In math, we are working on patterns and diagrams. We put little people in our Venn diagram based on their category.

In French, we have been writing a lot and we have been singing songs too. We also read a book and are working on a class book about if we were an animal, which animal we would be.
